Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! - Good or Bad?

Lately, I have went through the list of anime that I started. As a result of personal issues, I have abandoned my otaku life... like completely (; ̄Д ̄).

One of the anime that I started to watch is "Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!". It is an anime from Kyoto Animation studio. To be honest, I will watch anything made by them but I think this anime is that one exception!

One good point about this anime is the animation because as always it is beautiful!! The main character (Rikka Takanashi ) from this anime is also very well known as when the series began there was so many people that started to cosplay her. Those two factors encourage me even more to watch it as if it has such a fan base it must be good.(」゜ロ゜)」

I think the reason that I didn't find the liking in the anime was that I had high expectations to the plot itself. I knew that the anime includes some supernatural theme so you thought this is another "Koukai no Kanata". As you may not know, this anime was just INCREDIBLE! Unfortunately, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai was just an anime about delusional kids that are too cringy to watch. >.< This is my opinion as I give all anime a shot but no matter how much I forced myself, I couldn't enjoy it.  My friend who was watching said it suppose to be fun but because of my high expectations and my deep sense of reality... this was not anime for me.

If you want to know the plot of this anime is that a boy named Yuta who suffers from Chūnibyō  which translates to 'second year middle school student disease'. This means he just imagines himself having powers and that he is "Dark Flame Master". As a result of how he was acting in middle school, he never made any friends. (I'm not wondering why) Therefore, in High school he decided to leave his 'dark' past and be normal until he meets girl called Rikka who unfortunately is still in this delusion.

I don't know if I don't have good patience because this may be a story that develops and ends well but after 5 episodes I gave up. This reminds of weeboo's that watch too much Naruto and start to become 'Naruto' themselves.... just don't ಠ_ಠ

Please tell me in the comments what do you think about this anime :<

[TOKYO GHOUL FANDOM IS DEAD]

Hello blog readers,
I'm just a ghost which tries to express its feelings.
Tokyo Ghoul's second season just ended. Nowadays, I barely watched anything except TG and Parasyte, and occasionally Death Parade. As one of my fav anime has ended (AND very tragically), I just fell into pieces.
{SPOILER POST}
We all were so excited to see the second season, even though we knew we would just be tore apart by our emotions. And it happened. Now the fandom (literally) is dead. Just the ending crushed us. We barely survived each episode and it slowely lead us to our death. The emotions, drama and tragedy built up and the last episode was a catastrophy!!

A lot have happened during the second season and in actual fact the anime was corresponding to the manga somehow (idk my friend was keeping me informed). The difference was that Kaneki joined Aogiri and the ending that I will talk about later on. Overall, the season was very good; it was entertaining, interesting, kept us being attached to the characters and the good story. Still, I can't decide what side I'm mostly on; investigators or ghouls. The anime kept a balance between both sides of the 'war' by the way. Furthermore, the characters fell apart; our fabulous Tsukiyama is emotionally broken, our lively and crazy Juzo is depressed, Kaneki's soul became more dark. As well as that, the second season showed us the past of Anteiku's boss, and some background of Kaya and Enji which was terribly sad.

First vs Last Appearance

In my previous post about TG coming back and Kaneki reminding me of Allen, I mentioned Kaneki being gloomy and less lively. HE WAS FREAKING TORTURED THROUGH THE WHOLE SECOND SEASON. As Kaneki gained a lot of power he found difficult to control himself. He was in horrible pain in order to be strong and protect his friends. It was just a nightmare to watch the season as Anteiku was living their life to the fullest (somehow?) and Kaneki was looking like a traitor (bc he was attacking people like CCG cars and looked like a criminal and become famous in CCG etc) and has been lonely and in pain all the time. Furthermore, the second season just wrecked me to the fullest. Another thing worth to mention was Touka who studied hard in order to be in the same college as Kaneki. She was really worrying about him and without showing that - she wanted him to come back to Anteiku.
===========================================
WARNING! - SPOLIERS from last episode of the season.

People who waited for the second season would know that a 'poster' was published before the season started. It showed Kaneki holding someone who was covered with white blanket. The poster represented the 'tragic' end that will happen and the fandom just got cracy as of "WHAT WILL HAPPEN!?!". We were nor ready. Everybody was guessing that 'someone' will die and almost everybody was saying "Touka". Hahahahaha..........no! They deceived us. The body may look more feminine and there are flowers that were used in the opening were Touka was shown. Yet, our SUNSHINE died. This is the most horrible idea ever! Hide (my little sunshine ;-;) was caring so much for Kaneki and he even knew that Kaneki was a ghoul since the fight with Nishiki. After Kaneki's disappearance, Hide was looking for him - hanging missing posters. In the last episode while horribly wounded he carried Kaneki to Anteiku made him a cofffee and spend his last moments with his bff. Hide is a hero as he rescued Kaneki from dying outside and from the darkness within him as from the first time and forever Kaneki laughed which made my heart warm T^T. And he died. YET, I have a bit of hope left that he may live as he smiled while Kaneki was crying before him.

HI DED NOTHING WRONG!!!

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun - Cannot be unseen

This whole anime is loved by many from the start. For a long time, I saw this anime on my tumblr dash and on a website where I watch anime. It caught my interest but I thought it wasn't a perfect time to watch it because I know it will be good. The time has come and in two days, along with my sister, we finished this anime. Beforehand, I only knew that the main character is a mangaka and the girl with ginger hair and cute dotted bows is his assitance. I didn't have a clue about other characters except Kashima and Mikorin which I thought were borthers. I misgendered one character TДTGomenasai!

The plot circulates around Chiyo and Nozaki, who both work on a shoujo Manga. Before this actually happens, we get to know Chiyo's feelings towards Nozaki - she has a crush on him! When she tries to confess, he misunderstoods and gives her an autograph. Nozaki is actual a popular author of shoujo manga and currently he is working on 'Let's Love~' starring Suzuki and Mamiko. Even though, Nozaki is a shoujo manga artist, which.... y'know.... concentrates on romance, he knows nothing about romance! Chiyo and other characters helps him to get referance to the new characters or different events he need to introduce. That's why Chiyo founds it hard to show her love and he doesn't express it to her which causes a little problem for me.

Overall the series is super-ultra hilarious and also awkward at times. To be honest, there is not much romance but you get a spark of it but no fire - so don't get too fired. The show can be watched by evereyone, even if you don't like romance and cute stuff. The great strength of this anime are the characters. They are unique in some ways and every one of them are wanted to be seen on the screen.

Chiyo Sakura - Cheerful girl,  member of Art Club, kind and friendly, one of the cutest girl in anime ever!, is in love with Nozaki, sunshine of the anime.

Umetarou Nozaki - the main character, his appearnce suit sports anime, knows nothing about love yet is an author of shoujo manga, always looks for reference, blunt, shouldn't he be in Kuroko no Basket?

Mikoto Mikoshiba (Mikorin) - dork, fabulous guy, says something sassy or flirt yet then regrets his decisions as he is really shy, admired by girls.

Yuu Kashima - that's our beautiful Kashima, another sunshine, prince, admired by all females in school, Hori's kouhai, is member of drama club.

Masayuki Hori- the president of drama club, is really good at drawing backgrounds yet does not want to reveal the fact that he is helping Nozaki.shows a lot of potential when acting.
Yuzuki Seo - my fav, adorable, beautiful singer, destroyer of everything that fall under her feet, I think she doesn't know that she's rude, very lively.

Hirotaka Wakamatsu - member of basketball club, he? he is just there and became a Seo's victim.

Shinsekai Yori - No Dissapoinment!

The feeling you get when you will never know what will happen. You haven't heard about an anime and it is suspicous and bizarre itself. Shinsekai Yori is one of those anime that isn't for funny entertainment. It's more mysterious and flows with lot of narration. At some parts, I was confused as I tried to make up of what has been said and done, so to understand the whole story and what anime is trying to express, you need to use your brain.

Saki ; Shun ; Maria ; Satoru ; Mamoru
The 'theme' of the anime (is there anything like that?) is religion, society and culture. Everything is connected to this theme; clothes, behaviour, plot, setting and music. That is why I love it. The animation and graphic style is really pleasant for the eye - truly beautiful. I'll not cover the fact that at some parts the voice didn't go well with the mouth movements or that the facial expression of the character is just done carelessly. It didn't show sadness nor anger, even not anxiety. These are small details but I fully wanted to say "Yes! The animation is perfect!!". As we are going thorugh the appearance of the anime, is good to mention the designed clothes. It isn't like the characters have same clothes all the time, expcept the uniform for school. The clothes that were designed suit the religious, japanese theme. It is not really modern.... or is it?

The plot is one of the interesting things in this anime. It gives me goosebumps, excitement and I fully payed attention. To understand what was going on, I needed to listen carefully and progress what has been said and done. So the whol story concentrates on Group 1 in Sage Academy way in the future. People have powers called Cantus which allows them to create and manipulate stuff with their brain. They can easily repair pottery, levitate, move objects at will, produce fire using brain and even draw with sand on canvas. When a child receives their Cantus they are straight away send to school to get trained and also to learn how to safely use the power. Saki, one of the main character, joined school very late compared to her friends as she finally received her Cantus. During her school days she taks part in classes and teamwork tasks with Group 1 that is made up of 6 member along with her; Satoru, Shun, Maria, Reiko and Mamoru. Even though Saki could finally go to school with her friends, there is terrifying rumour. If a child doesn't progress well in school and have poor grades, the child becomes 'disposed of' and is never seen or remembered anymore. The first sign is the 'copycat' and Saki has saw one.
So the first few episodes leaves you many questions like: Are there any normal people around? Why the children are disposed of? What are the parents thinking about this? What are copycats? And as the story progresses we ask ourself even more questions as there is so much mystery which is hid from everyone. Also we ask ourselves: What is the potential threat? Who is the enemy? As they have powers there should be something they will be fighting with, right?

The story does not concentrate at one point of the characters life but throught there life over these 25 episodes. As well as that, the characters are really interesting as they vary from presonalities and lot of stuff happens to them. An interesting thing for me is the fact that THERE IS SO MUCH SHIPS I CAN GAIN FROM THIS ANIME! I don't know who to ship, is just mindfuck. There are already some pairings established originally in the anime and there is even some yaoi and yuri context (but few kisses and love hugs and relationships). This anime is recommmended to watch ^-^

#Tokyo Ghoul Season 2 & #Why Kaneki Reminds me of Allen O.O

A lot is going on the title of the post XD Tokyo Ghoul's second season just came out on Thrusday and I was extremelly excited to watch it. Unfortunately, I didn't knew that it will come out so soon and it was a suprise for me - (I'm such a great fan.... -.-)

Tokyo Ghoul Season 2 Impression

The first, new episode just continued from the last episode of first season. It just looked as if this episode was on hold as nothing has changed and it just continues. No fireworks. Nothing extraordinary. Nothing special. Same goes to the new opening. The first season's opening was heart-breaking and tragic and now we get something simple. My friend who is into Tokyo Ghoul and have read the manga is agreeing with me.

'So why to watch it?'.
At the beginning I was repeating - "I hope this season will be good!!".... and I think it will. When I saw our white haired-Kaneki I just burst out with excitement and just got the feels. He looked like he is pain. He didn't looked like Kaneki. He didn't act like Kaneki. He is different. So he rescued Touka and fought with her brother. Daaamnn...... those fighting skills. Epic. As well as that, he was repeating about a secret which of course we will have to wait a long time to be revealed.

Lets talk about other characters! To boost up some positive feelings and make us laugh we have our trash, french guy - Tsukiyama. Why to mention him? Because he and his french phrases kill me XD and he went for a rescue. In addition, you know that old guy from Anteiku (Yoshimura)?? He is a total badass. It took me a while to know that it was him. No-one should get on his way if they value their lives o.o
*Shrek 2's soundtrack plays in the bckg* I NEED A HERO!!

Even though the episode had a poor start, it got from bad-ass fighting, some nostalagic stuff which hopefully made us all laugh and some really sad scenes, especially near the end. Theere is a difference as a result of the development of the characters and the story line. I'm not ready for the feels. I just want everybody to be happy ;^;

Allen Walker & Kaneki Ken

On purpose, I divided this post if anyone would like to skip my bullsh*t about D. Gray Man ~(˘▾˘~)

As I mentioned before, Kaneki changed. He was changing gradually and now he is kind of a different person. I already felt this change somewhere and you know where. So how these two are similar?
  • Appearance - OK. I just noticed this now, but they have both white hair and gray eyes. Literally, they have same features!! You know when a character has something unique in their appearance which suits the storyline? So Allen has a red eye which activates when an akuma is nearby AND Kaneki has a red eye which activates when he uses his ghoul-powers or just feels hunger. Do you see what I mean??
  • At the beginning of anime they were kind of weak (Kaneki was more to pity tbh) and gradually they got stronger.
  • They both used to be very kind and light-hearted, with beautiful smile, especially at the beginning. THEN, the amount of times they smile started to decrease, they became more....hm.....gloomy? The kindness and sparkles just disappeared as their soul was getting consumed by the darkness due to what is happening around them.
  • They left. They left the place they belong to. Allen left the Order and Kaneki left Anteiku. Both places treated them as a family. Idk why Kaneki leaves and if the people he will be with or good or bad but after I saw it I was like "DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE!" Then I had series of flashback and I just realised that I saw this scene before..... I saw the main character's back while they are leaving. It is not happy ending...

Deadman Wonderland vs Mirai Nikki - Similarties

First of all, I'm half way through Deadman Wonderland. As always, I was sharing my feelings and thoughts with my sister, who won't watch this anime. Accidently, I noticed that there are few similarties that these two good series share. For funzies, I'm just gonna mention them.
  • At first, I noticed that the two main characters of both series look alike, then I noticed that they are both the cowardy, and crying-a-lot type. I sympathied with them both as lots of crazy and insane stuff is going on so they can cry how much the want..... poor little things ;^; In short Yukki and Ganda have similar appearance and personality.
  • In both series the main females are 'kind' of obssessed with main characters. In Deadman Wonderland there is Shiro who likes to follow Ganda around and spend time with him because they are friends. On the other side, in Mirai Nikki, there is Yuno who also follows Yukki everywhere and wants to spend every moment with him. Not to mention that both girls just say the names - Ganda and Yukki - all the time. The difference is that Yuno is an insane girl who will not allow anyone to steal her man. I don't know about Shiro as I stated before, I haven't finished the series.
  • The characters have a power and have to fight with people that have 'kind' of the same power? Coincidence? Maybe. In Mirai Nikki we have the cellphone users which predict the future and in Deadman Wonderland they have a blood-type weapon called Branches of Sin. Even though the weapons are different, the characters still have to fight with each other.
  • The graphic-style is similar - well..... for me.
  • At last, the series gaves us different users of the 'power', all with different personalities, appearance, gender and age which gives a huge variety of 'unique'characters [Note: I think that happens - still haven't got to that part]
